Course Description

This 1 day beginners Word course is designed to get you started in Microsoft Word.

If you have never used Microsoft Word (or have used it very little) then you'll discover how to put together a simple but well presented document that taps into powerful Word tools such as text editing, images, tables and bullets and numbered lists.

You'll master techniques to achieve quick results and produce simple documents that look good.

Prerequisites

Participants should be familiar with the Windows operating system and comfortable using a keyboard and mouse.

Versions Taught

Our computers are always installed with the latest version of Office. The current version is Word 365 (desktop).

If you have an earlier or Word such as Word 2016 or Word 2013 we will explain any key differences during the training.

Still using Word 2010 or earlier? It's time to say goodbye to an old friend and upgrade! Microsoft don't support this version any more.
